Questions about an official Lavaca County docket or case file must go to the office that keeps it. This private site cannot act for a court, but the routes below distinguish District Court records from constitutional County Court records.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This privately run reference site cannot retrieve a docket, alter a setting, seal or remove a case, provide a certified copy, or offer legal advice. Contact the responsible clerk or court for those services.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Use the following routes for common Lavaca County requests:

  • Court dates: review the court calendar, then confirm the setting with the court coordinator or proper clerk
  • District Court files: ask the District Clerk about felony, district civil, family, or juvenile records
  • County Court files: ask the County Clerk about misdemeanor, county civil, probate, or guardianship records
  • Case lookups: begin with a case search, understanding that re:SearchTX does not include every local record
  • Copies and dockets: consult the court records guide and order from the custodian that holds the case
